You could also take a 20 minute drive to the world renowned Eumundi Markets  – a must for bargain hunting and mingling with the upbeat locals.

Treat yourself to a day trip

Kick the adventure up a notch with a fabulous day trip to some of Australia’s most memorable attractions.

Cuddle the koalas and hand-feed some kangaroos at the world-renowned Australia Zoo, or lace up those walking boots and embark on a hike up the stunning Glasshouse Mountains.

If sunny, scenic views call to you, why not plan a day trip to Fraser Island? Bask in the sunshine and marvel at the panoramic views from Indian Head and the Cathedrals –  a cliff famous for sculpted ribbons of coloured sand. While you’re there, keep an eye out for whales, these gentle giants can be spotted from the shoreline from July to November.
